Honestly I did plan to include a bit of the aftermath, with Ruth opening the door and seeing a much older Sarah standing there and finally realising her mistake. Of course, the real Sarah would *insist* on keeping her new little sister around for at least the drive home...
In the end, though, I just ran out of space and so left it to the reader's imagination!
Sarah does look amazing in that dress and heels. She has the coy, over the shoulder look down. I hope the girls are enjoying themselves and are not smitten by two well dressed Gentleman from a nearby college. Perhaps rugby players? Wonderful ending . . .

ReplyDeletePart of me hoped for the aftermath but my own philosophy is "always leave them wanting more" and you definitely achieved that here.
Bravo! This was a delightful series and I quite enjoyed it being formatted in letters, it made it quite unique!
